I know kind of gross ... but.. I made this ricotta bake for my mom and I, we sat down and ate it really slow and it tasted sooooo good!   Then.. came a lil pain.. then came burping.. then came omg Im gonna barf.    Ran to the bathroom.. was an easy barf just all the food I just ate.  Then I felt better.

now I know what its like ha ha ha  luckily it didn't come with foamies or heart racing, sweating , etc.

Guess I wasn't ready for it.

now Have a lovely day!   :)

The beauty of our quicky barfs (NOT a dumping barf) is that we don't have to retrieve our eyeballs    from the back of the bathroom

floor anymore..lol  I RARELY barf and have never

dumped (knocking wood), but atleast I know that its over in 15 seconds

and no noise..lol  RNY does have its humor..lol

Jackie - Glad to hear you had a quick barf.. those are the best kinds. Amazing how you instantly feel better.. and ready to go.

It's the wait it out barfs with the pain and foamies that suck!!

When that happens, I tell myself that it's my pouch saying.. "Remember, I am still in charge!"  A great reminder to keep on track as it can be awful at times.. But you will usually know in a bite or two if it is okay or not..,

Been there done that, and oh my goodness, did it for 8 months.  Doc didn't seem to care.  I love the short ones, but the first time for me, I was sick for 3 hours...thought I would die!!  Just glad that is over.  Only happens when I pu****

Take good care of yourself and keep up the great work Jackie.

Thanks for sharing.... isn't  it great that we can share stories about pooh, vomit and heartburn and everyone understands.  I love this site!

Soooo ricotta and spiggetti sauce??  Sounds super awesome!  Count down till the 7th...I'm having some sort of fish bake that night.

Jackie,

Unfortunately I've had this happen several times, but the number of times has come down. I think I've gone a week now without tossing my cookies.  It seems when I try a new food my pouch wasn't ready for, not well cooked enough veggies, or left over food that has lost its moisture.  Luckily this has only happened once while I was at work.

Good luck in doing less cookie tossing

I have quick barfs too.  Been about twice a week starting at week 4.  After a few bites, I feel like there is a big lump in my throat, burp a couple of times and yep.. just know its coming up.  Feel instantly better afterwards, though.  Mostly it happens when something is too dry, or is strong smelling, or the food is too rich for my picky pouch.  Its also happened with a couple of bites of a very sweet ripe peach.  I am thankful that I have such an easy "out" when something doesn't agree with me.
